Floor plans/blueprints
Don’t purchase plans off the Internet unless it has exactly what you want without changes. For the money, it’s a better purchase to work with our architect to allow you a professional’s opinion on what you’re seeking, the ability to make many changes AND you’ll get to do a 3D software walk through of the home before its ready to get priced. This will take approximately 4-6 weeks.

Pricing and proposal
Once the plans are sent to Kennedy Homes, we will send those to our subs and vendors for pricing. Roughly 4-6 weeks later we will provide you an allowance sheet (pricing) and a proposal (detailed breakdown of everything that will be included in your home).

Financing
You will need to work with a bank of your choice to determine whether it’s in your best interest to have Kennedy Homes hold the construction loan or if you want to. There are many variables that will ultimately make this your decision, but KH will hold the loan during the build if you so choose.

Contract
We will prepare a contract for you to review before moving forward with the construction.

Build
As soon as we have the proper permits to begin the construction, which usually takes approximately 2-4 weeks, we will start building your dream home. This process, depending on weather and start date, should take roughly 8-10 months.
